Dear friends,

On the 7th of May 2005, VATSIM Russia will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Second World War (actual date 9th May 2005). A lot of international delegations and tourists will visit Moscow during these days. It will be the most beautiful, spectacular and unforgettable parade that the heart of Russia- Red Square has ever seen.

To celebrate the event, we have decided to organize an ATC facility, where more than 14 controllers will gather in one room to provide 12 hour long, non-stop, service all over Western part of Russia.

Just imagine, never ever before VATSIM Russia have covered with ATC such an immense area for a long period of time! Our online facilities will open at 12pm local Moscow time (08:00 UTC) and close at 12am (20:00 UTC)!

We are glad that our "Victory Day" fly-in will take place simultaneously with Europe becoming a part of "One Sky"event. We wil contribute to the event by greatly expanding the area under control. On behalf of all our members, please let me invite you to visit Moscow or any other participating airport that day.

Don't be afraid to explore new areas and new countries! Although we use metric leveling, we DO speak English ;) We truly have ONE SKY. That's what this fly-in is all about!
